EYA, LLC is thrilled to announce a major milestone for Robinson Landing, Old Town Alexandria’s newest waterfront neighborhood.
Mortgage interest rates have climbed steadily since the first of the year. According to BankRate, the Fixed National Average for a 30-year loan has increased from 3.85 percent on January 1st, to 4.35 percent on February 21st, half a percentage point increase. Rates were last above 5 percent in 2011. To better understand these changes, we sat down with Joshua Jablonski of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage to gain his insight on what homebuyers and sellers can anticipate in the coming year. Josh has been lending to buyers in the DMV for the past 16 years.
For many local artists and art enthusiasts, the annual Patrons' Show, hosted by The Art League, is a highlight of the year. Described as part block party, part fundraiser, The Patrons' Show is a unique opportunity to view and purchase locally made art, while supporting a great cause. This year marks the 50th anniversary of The Patrons' Show and Robinson Landing is proud to be a sponsor of the event.
Imagine waking up to sunlight streaming through your floor-to-ceiling windows. You begin the day with a leisurely breakfast and morning coffee on your waterfront balcony or private rooftop terrace. Then take a stroll through the quaint Old Town streets or get in your early workout at the state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the Potomac River. Meet friends in the evening at the outdoor restaurant on the pier or one of the many Old Town acclaimed eateries just steps away. This is life at Robinson Landing.
Mark your calendar to celebrate the beginning of a new era for the Old Town waterfront. On Saturday, November 4th, we will introduce Robinson Landing—distinctive waterfront residences ideally situated in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.
EYA is proud to partner with the City of Alexandria to co-host the U.S. Coast Guard Eagle. Also known as “America’s tall ship,” it is the largest tall ship flying the Stars and Stripes and the only square-rigger in U.S. government service. The Eagle will be docked in Old Town at the Robinson Landing pier from Monday, September 4, to Friday, September 8. Public viewing and tours are free.
