Westfield Montgomery Mall has been rolling out big developments in the past few years, with an improved food court, the addition of high-end retail, and the opening of ArcLight Cinemas and Lucky Strike bowling alley and gastropub. Just two years after groundbreaking, Westside at Shady Grove Metro is coming to life with the announcement of its first retailers, the addition of two new townhome models and numerous neighborhood amenities for residents. Shops and Restaurants Starbucks and Beauty Sense Nails are among the first retail tenants expected to open this September, in The Daley - a mixed-use building that features 333 luxury apartments ready for June move-in. Not ready to buy? The Daley at Westside offers rental apartments that allow you to apply your rent towards the purchase of a new townhome at Westside. With Starbucks, you can stroll out the front door, pick up a cup of your favorite brew, and enjoy a casual walk to the Metro. Beauty Sense will also open its second full-service nail salon and spa. An attractive mix of restaurants and neighborhood convenience businesses are planned with additional announcements to come this summer. A grocery store and pharmacy are anticipated for future phases of the project. New Floorplans From the Mid $500s EYA has introduced two competitively priced townhome models at Westside -- the Fitzgerald and Gershwin. The new models offer three bedrooms on one level in a thoughtfully designed, compact floor plan that also includes a two-car garage. Homes are priced in the mid $500’s. Stroll/Bike/Cruise Now that Westside’s new Metro access connection is open, you can walk from Columbus Avenue to the Shady Grove Station in as little as five minutes. In addition, EYA has installed three Capital Bikeshare stations: one at the Metro entrance, one adjacent to the retail core, and one central to the townhomes.
