The Golden Nugget Awards honor projects which improve our communities through excellence in design, planning and development. We are thrilled to announce that Grosvenor Heights received an Award of Merit in the Sustainable Residential Community category. This category highlights projects excelling in energy efficiency, conservation of natural resources and sustainable building practices.
The Washington Post’s 2014 Top Workplaces have been released, and EYA is one of them! We ranked #5 out of the 80 small companies (50-150 employees) included on the list. The article mentions that our “employees enjoy a fun atmosphere” and commends our “charitable foundation, the EYA foundation” for its great contributions to the communities where we build. We would also like to congratulate our investment partners, JBG, for ranking #1 as the best large company to work for in the area!
For the second time in a row, EYA has been voted Best Residential Builder in Washington City Paper's Reader's Poll.
After recently perusing through Washingtonian’s “Best Of” list (see some of Alexandria’s local winners), we noticed that Grape + Bean, a wine and coffee combo shop just a half block off King Street in Old Town Alexandria, made the Best Coffee House list this year and we wanted to check it out for ourselves.
Five prestigious judges reviewed over 130 nominations in the 14th Annual competition, in which real estate deal makers are honored for their contributions to the industry.

The Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Terwilliger Center selected EYA's Capitol Quarter New Townhome Community in Washington, DC for recognition in their annual Jack Kemp Models of Excellence Workforce Housing Award.
EYA’s new townhome community at Arts District Hyattsville has again been named “Best Mixed Use Neighborhood” by the 2010 Great American Living Awards (GALA) Committee at a ceremony on October 21st.
